Lucille is 100% at Camp 2

I just got off the phone with Lucille. She descended all the way down to Camp 2 and is surrounded by other members of her expedition and being congratulated left and right. She sounded excellent, in good spirits, and confirmed for me that all ten fingers and ten toes are all OK. She did not know her Spot was off, and will send an OK message soon. She will also call Gabcast later.

Anyways, this is the update we have all been waiting for. All is well. I'll leave the rest for Lucille to report.

Congratulations....what a dream come true and to be back safe and sound is spectacular. I do not know you, but I read your story on the journal and have been a follower ever since. Your spot was killing me yesterday when it stopped, but thank goodness all went well. You are an inspiration and clearly loved by all who know you.

Congratulations Lucille! Wow, what a tremenous acchievement. You had a big dream girlfriend and you made it a reality. How many of us dreamers can say that? You are an inspiration to me, in more ways than you could ever hope to imagine. Only one thing left for you to achieve. That's for you and your team to come down off that mountain safe and sound. Dearest Lucille:
Seeing your picture posted by Becky/Tim was the nicest Mother's Day present I could ever have.
Lucille, you don't this and but you have inspired many school children, and amazed your generation who followed your trek.
I am so bless to have you as one of my three nice girls.

Rest for to-day and we will talk later of what Sister Annata told me on the way to church this am.

Loads of LOVE

See SPOT GO. GO SPOT GO. SEE SPOT HAVE FUN. SEE SPOT STOP. NO SPOT NO. GO SPOT GO. PLEASE GO SPOT PLEASE.

Lucille -- you scared the heck out of some of us. We used up every ounce of prayers, and we all wore out our "refresh" buttons on the SPOT page.
I finally decided that you were in the best hands,(being that you were up that high you could just reach out and touch God's hand),and that the batteries must have froze up, or just wore down.
I knew you would make it, - I just wanted to SEE you do it. I hope you did touch God's hand, too.

What a gal!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are inspiring me every day, Lucille. Way to go girl!!
I never had any doubt, not for a minute, that you would make it up to the summit. I will say, that I am currently reading the book Dark Summit, and I'm just past the summit part of the story and all I can think about is you guys up there in the cold. I feel like I'm there with you.
I'm glad you're safe.
You followed your dreams and you did it. HOORAY!

Namaste Lucille! Way to go! We are all so happy and proud of you! I have been following that darn spot all along and most intently as you made your summit bid. My heart was stopped as long as that spot was. You can't imagine the thoughts we had here... our rosary beads are worn thin, we are out of incense, but then we realized that "it's Lucille we're talkin' about. She'll be fine." Stay safe on your way down. Come home to us all. I can hardly wait to give you a big hug. Well done. I am so proud of you for living your dream. And we're also very proud of Ted for supporting you with encouragment and Love the whole while. Congratulations!!!

OH LUCILLE!! You have inspired so many people with this journey of yours. You are such a strong woman and I'm so proud to say that you are a friend of mine.
I'm so happy that you have made it down safe and sound. In a frenzy of text messages between everyone at STARS on Thursday night, we were all moved to tears as we heard that you had summitted. You have no idea the impact your journey has had on so many people...and we are all just counting down the days until you get back so we can hug you in person. Until then, virtual hugs are coming your way. Stay safe! We love you!
