May 15 Day 9. Made it to Keremeos 135 km today with one big hill, but it wasn’t as bad as yesterday. After Princeton it was mostly downhill.
The boys decided to do the same ride as me today, a double day….and as we left this morning, we said good bye, and they took off ahead of me
. They told me tonight that they didn’t think they would see me again….they underestimated me!!!! We arrived at the campground within 30 min of each other, but in all fairness, they stopped for a beer in Princeton, and they were carrying a 6 pack with them as they didn’t think they would find any beer in Keremeos!!!!
The weather was great today, Goldilocks weather again without any wind. Thanks to everyone who was watching, and everyone who sent a text or message! Really lifts my spirits 😀😀
I’m not sure what the plan for tomorrow is….weather is coming in, and we could barely cycle the 3 km from dinner back to the campground as the wind is so gusty. Can’t ride in that kind of wind. So will see what tomorrow brings.
Plan for today is keremeos….135 km. Should be a nice day. Just having a quick breakfast then heading off.
