You are in my thoughts almost constantly...Lucille,
You are in my thoughts almost constantly. Was thinking this morning that your great-grand-father was a climber in his ways. But when he was 80 years old b. 1856 In 1936 he did climb the spire of the church to fix the cross after a bad thunderstorm. The people came to him and asked if he would do the job. Your gr-grand pa was a capable man, who I think like challenges and would likely answer to the call, when he learned that he was the only man in Baie-St-Paul, Qc that could do it. The height was over 100 ft and when he finished his job and knew in his mind that the cross was now solid, he put his tools away and leaned on the cross and sang "le coccorico" which means that he immitate the crow of the rooster. According to the Historical Society of the area there were a few hundred people on ground to see if old man Cimon could do it. I have pictures which I will show you. I pray that your gr-grand-pa's spirit be with you specially for the last 100's meters and then you could maybe continue his tradition and sing cocorico!!!

Claudia, how nice of you and your mother to have that mass for Lucille. I was at mass this am could it be in St-Andrews Edmonton???

The Doucette's grand-children are all following you as well as Michael and Christopher Brinton who have been faithful since the early beginning, the school children from different places, etc. To the teachers I tell you what maybe you have done, this one teacher told me that her students made their bucket list, (grade five just like you) and she kept a copy. That is interesting.

I have another message for you, but it will be tomorrow.

Love, love, love

MomMarie Beauprehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07461172487534839503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7180679531354583078.post-25713072171630343472010-05-04T09:46:07.055-06:002010-05-04T09:46:07.055-06:00Lucille - This morning, a mass was said for you at...Lucille - This morning, a mass was said for you at my mom's church.
